Deep Dish

Deep Dish by Mary Kay Andrews

What was this book about?
Chef Gina Foxton has a local television show that seems to have a large following. That is until her current boyfriend and producer ends up sleeping with her sponsor’s wife and her show is canceled. She must find something else to go to. She finds out that she is up for a Cooking Channel spot and is competing with other local celebrity Tate Moody. Tate is also a cook with a twist – on his show he hunts, fishes and cooks.

What was your favorite part about this book?
I liked the dynamic of the two of them. They seemed like genuine nice people. And Tate was a sweetheart.

What was your least favorite part about this book?
They didn’t know each other long before he “fell” for her. It seemed a little rushed one minute he hates her the next he loves her.

What genre would you consider this?
Romance

Overall: B, I enjoyed the book overall.
