Lord of the Night

Lord of the Night by Robin T. Popp (A Night Slayer Book)

What was this book about?
Vampire slayer Kacie Renault has a history with vampires that goes back as far as them killing her entire family. She also has history with vampire Erik Winslow who was a family friend until she found out what he really was. When Erik finds out that Kacie killed his best friend, he protects her as he has her entire life – even when it puts him up against the rest of his friends.

What was your favorite part about this book?
I like the interesting way in which people become vampires. The history of both their story and the other stories and their interaction makes me want to read more about the Night Slayer’s.

What was your least favorite part about this book?

She changed her mind pretty easily after holding a grudge for years. It obviously was because of her relationship/attraction to Erik, but she certainly left everything else behind pretty easily.

What genre would you consider this?

Paranormal Romance

Content in the book:
Romance: Not in the traditional sense but it is a romance
Sex: Some
Mystery: Not really
Violence: Definitely some
Overall: B+, I enjoyed it and it was a easy read.
