The Warrior by Kinley MacGregor
What was this book about?
Scottish Laird Lochlan MacAllister finds out that his brother really didn’t die years ago in a horrible suicide drowning. Instead he may be out in the world somewhere remembering the last argument they had. He feels he must go out and find his brother. Meanwhile, he runs into family friend Catarina, who is being pursued by the King of France – her father. Her father wants to marry her off to some random prince and she is definitely against that fact. Lochlan must protect her and find his brother.
What was your favorite part about this book?
The story was believable in the sense that it was a slow romance and they couldn’t help but be together.
What was your least favorite part about this book?
I wish I knew more about the family. I feel if I had some things would have made sense a little earlier. This is definitively part of a series.
What genre would you consider this?
Historical Romance
Content in the book:
Romance: Definitely
Sex: Some
Mystery: A little
Violence: Not really
Overall: B. I enjoyed it overall and would be interested in reading more.
