The Haunting of Josie

The Haunting of Josie by Kay Hooper

What was this book about?
Josie Douglas has had a tough life, and she needs a little time to do some research in peace and quiet. She rents a small cottage in an isolated part of a small town. Almost immediately she meets Marc Westbrook, landlord and descendent of the original owner of the property. Almost immediately strange things start happening to Josie. She doesn’t think she is going crazy, but she already has one mystery to solve – can she solve another one. Then there is the attraction she can’t help but have for Marc – can she deny that?

What was your favorite part about this book?

The kitty cat was pretty cute. The fact that he was more then a cat and that they could tell it was pretty interesting. Anyone that has been around cats for that long sometimes wonders if they know what you are saying. This one it seems really does.

What was your least favorite part about this book?
While the mystery of the cottage is resolved, Josie’s mystery really isn’t fully resolved.

What genre would you consider this?
Romance

Overall: B-, not my favorite Kay Hooper book, but interesting all the same.
