Vampire Interrupted

Vampire Interrupted by Lynsay Sands (An Argeneau Novel)

What was this book about?
Margaurite Argeneau is ready to start her life on a new path. When fellow vampire Christian Notte comes to her and asks her to find his mother, she can’t help but want to try out this life full-force. On her quest she meets Christian’s father, Julius, who has kept the secret of Christian’s birth for over 500 years.

Margaurite can’t help but be attracted to Julius, but she has been burned before and spend centuries in an awful and abusive marriage. As she works toward the goal of the mission things start happening to her, people are trying to kill her. Is it because she knows too much? What is her connection to this mystery? Can they stop the killers before they accomplish what they are setting out to do?

What was your favorite part about this book?

The Argeneau family is just a pleasure to be around. It was nice to be able to but both Margaurite’s story to rest as well as truly finish “Vampires are Forever” since much of that plot revolves around what is happening to Margaurite at the same time.

What was your least favorite part about this book?
If you are observant in the family tree at the front of the book you will find out the major plot twist that you normally wouldn’t be expecting. So if you want to be surprised don’t look too hard.

What genre would you consider this?
Paranormal Romance

Overall:
B+, it was one of my favorite’s in the series so far.

Spoilers:
I have to admit one of my favorite parts was the solving of the mystery of Christian’s mother. It was not something I was expecting in the least. But at the same point Lynsay was able to make it a believable twist.
